auth_method_http

Uses the HTTP Basic AUTH method to query users for login informations
(username and password), whenever it is needed. This is the recommended
["auth_query"] plugin; while it cannot be made fancy-looking at all, is
more professional than the commonly found plain login <forms>.
(With Mozilla and XUL/XBL coming up, there may well be possibilities for
beatification of those otherwise boringly gray login dialog boxes.)
